Quebec City Jean-Lesage Airport

The mandate

Jean-Lesage International Airport is an international airport located northwest of Quebec City. The request was to cover the curtain wall with automated solar screens for windows over 30 feet high, all controlled by the automated lighting system of the building.

The solution

We opted for Somfy's Animeo IP control system with TexScreen 9105 5% fabric. The fabric protects from glare while letting in natural light. The motorization of this system is powerful enough to cover the very large airport windows.
