Altex Secures Legal Victory in Intellectual Property Dispute

Terrebonne, Québec – 2024, December 11 – Altex, a family-owned, Canadian designer and manufacturer of world-class window coverings, is pleased to announce that the Court-appointed arbitrator has found in favor of Altex in its proceeding against S. P. Engineering S.R.L. (“SPE”) and its principal Giovanni Bergamaschi.

The arbitrator found that SPE and Bergamaschi violated Altex’s Intellectual Property and contractual rights. Of note, the arbitrator declared that SPE and Bergamaschi:

  • Encouraged and assisted the companies EN3 Sunprotection Group Inc. and EN3 Sunprotection Inc., and Enrico Nardone and Stefano Nardone to breach their confidentiality obligations and to compete unfairly with Altex.
